How To 3D Print an Aircraft - Series 2 Part 2 - Rutan Quickie

Episode 2, today we have built the wings. There is nothing groundbreaking in my fusion use today, I mostly used simple functions such as lofts from sketches. I talk a little about airfoils and we use canvases from images taken at www.airfoiltools.com.

I did try to discuss the areas of washout and decalage, and I added a small amount to both wings with more on the canard. The stall characteristic issue is complicated somewhat by tandem wing design. In order to have the canard stall first we need to consider the decalage angle. This is difference in the angle of incidence between the two wings. You can find plenty of research on the internet about this, like this article here.
